Gastly is a Psychic-type Pokémon with 30 HP. It features a resistance to Fighting-type attacks, reducing damage by 30. The card’s artwork is by artist Keiji Kinebuchi. Gastly has two attacks: "Sleeping Gas" and "Destiny Bond." "Sleeping Gas" costs one Psychic Energy and forces the defending Pokémon to sleep if a coin flip lands on heads. "Destiny Bond" requires two Energy costs—Psychic and Colorless—and allows the player to discard a Psychic Energy card attached to Gastly. If Gastly is knocked out during the opponent’s next turn, that Pokémon is immediately Knocked Out. The card’s flavor text describes Gastly as a nearly invisible, gaseous Pokémon that cloaks its target and induces sleep without warning.
