The card’s attacks include Tackle, which costs two Colorless energy to deal 20 damage, and Chain Lightning, requiring three Lightning energy to strike for 20 damage. The latter attack inflicts 10 damage to each Benched Pokémon of the same type as the defending Pokémon if the defending Pokémon isn’t Colorless. Its flavor text describes the Pokémon as storing electrical energy under high pressure, often exploding with little provocation. Electrode has a Fighting-type weakness that multiplies damage by two, with no resistances listed. The card was illustrated by artist Mitsuhiro Arita and is classified as a Rare card.
