Snorlax is a Colorless-type Pokémon with 90 HP and a retreat cost of four Colorless energy. It features the ability Thick Skinned, which prevents it from being Asleep, Confused, Paralyzed, or Poisoned, though this effect cannot activate if Snorlax is already in one of those states. Its primary attack, Body Slam, requires four Colorless energy to use and deals 30 damage, flipping a coin to potentially Paralyze the defending Pokémon. Snorlax resists Psychic-type attacks by 30 and is weak to Fighting-type attacks with double damage. The card’s flavor text describes Snorlax as a lazy creature that grows increasingly slothful as its size increases. It was first released in the Base Set 2 series on February 24, 2000, and is classified as a Rare card. Artist Ken Sugimori designed the illustration for this edition.
