Exeggcute is a Grass-type Pokémon with 50 HP. It features two attacks: Hypnosis, which costs one Psychic energy and causes the defending Pokémon to fall asleep, and Leech Seed, requiring two Grass energy to deal 20 damage while allowing the player to remove a damage counter from Exeggcute unless all damage is prevented. The card’s retreat cost is one Colorless energy, and it has no resistances. Its weakness is Fire, dealing double damage. The flavor text describes Exeggcute as often mistaken for eggs, with a tendency to gather and attack in swarms when disturbed. The card was released in the Base Set 2 series on February 24, 2000.
