Mewtwo is a Psychic-type Pokémon with 60 HP and a retreat cost of two Colorless Energy. It features two attacks: Energy Control, which costs one Psychic Energy and allows the player to flip a coin, then move a basic Energy card from an opponent’s Pokémon to another of their choice if heads, and Telekinesis, which requires three Psychic Energy to deal 30 damage to an opponent’s Pokémon while ignoring Weakness and Resistance. The card has no resistances but is weak to Psychic-type attacks multiplied by two. It was released in the Legendary Collection set on May 24, 2002, and is part of the Other series. The card’s flavor text describes it as a scientific creation born from years of gene-splicing and DNA engineering experiments.
