Charizard is a Fire-type Pokémon with 120 HP and a retreat cost of three Colorless Energy. It features the Energy Burn ability, allowing it to convert all attached Energy into Fire Energy during its turn, provided it isn’t affected by a Special Condition. The Fire Spin attack requires four Fire Energy to deal 100 damage and mandates discarding two Energy cards attached to Charizard or the attack fails. Charizard resists Fighting-type attacks by 30 and is weak to Water-type attacks with double damage. Its flavor text describes a Pokémon capable of melting boulders with its fiery breath and unintentionally sparking forest fires. The card was released in the Legendary Collection set in 2002 as a Rare Holo edition, numbered 3.
