Omastar is a Water-type Pokémon with 70 HP, featuring a retreat cost of one Colorless Energy. Its two attacks include Water Gun, which costs Water and Colorless Energy to deal 20 damage plus 10 additional damage for each Water Energy attached to Omastar but not used for the attack. The second attack, Spike Cannon, requires two Water Energy to deal 30 damage multiplied by the number of heads from flipping two coins. The card’s flavor text describes it as a prehistoric Pokémon that became extinct due to its heavy shell hindering its ability to hunt. Designed by artist Ken Sugimori, Omastar has a Grass-type weakness with double damage. It appears in the Legendary Collection set, released in 2002, as card number 58 with an Uncommon rarity.
