Flying Pikachu is a Lightning-type Pokémon with 40 HP and a retreat cost of one Colorless energy. It features two attacks: Thundershock, which costs a single Lightning energy to deal 10 damage and has a 50% chance to paralyze the defending Pokémon, and Fly, requiring three Colorless energies to strike for 30 damage with a coin flip effect that either prevents all attacks next turn or nullifies the attack entirely. The card carries a resistance to Fighting-type attacks, reducing damage by 30. Designed by artist Toshinao Aoki, it belongs to the Base set released in 1999 as part of the Wizards Black Star Promos series.
