Bonsly is a Fighting-type Pokémon with 40 HP and a retreat cost of one Colorless energy. It features the "Baby Evolution" Poké-Power, allowing players to evolve Bonsly into Sudowoodo from their hand during their turn, removing all damage counters from Bonsly in the process. The card’s attack, "Fake Tears," has no energy cost and grants a defensive effect by flipping a coin; if heads, the opponent cannot play Trainer cards from their hand during their next turn, and damage to Bonsly is reduced by 30. Bonsly’s weakness is to Grass-type attacks, which deal an additional 10 damage. The card’s flavor text describes Bonsly as appearing to cry while regulating its body’s fluid balance.
