"Detect" requires one Fighting energy and allows the player to flip a coin, preventing all effects of an attack, including damage, during the opponent's next turn if heads. Its flavor text reflects a theme of endurance and sharpened spirit through self-discipline. Meditite is weak to Psychic-type attacks, which deal 10 more damage.
