Hypno is a Psychic-type Pokémon with 80 HP and a retreat cost of one Colorless energy. It has a weakness to Psychic-type attacks, dealing double damage. The card features the ability Sleep Pendulum, which allows the player to make the defending Pokémon Asleep if Hypno is the active Pokémon during their turn. This ability cannot be used if Hypno is under a Special Condition. Hypno’s attack, Spiral Aura, requires one Psychic and two Colorless energy to deal 30 damage. If the defending Pokémon survives, the player may switch it with one of their opponent’s Benched Pokémon. The card was released in the Aquapolis set as part of the E-Card series on January 15, 2003. It is a Rare Holo card illustrated by artist Mitsuhiro Arita, with a themecolor of #b07c51.
