Ditto is a Colorless-type Pokémon with 60 HP, featuring a retreat cost of one Colorless Energy. It possesses a unique Poké-Power ability called Form Variation, allowing it to search its discard pile for a Basic Pokémon (excluding Pokémon-ex and Ditto) and swap places with it during your turn. This ability transfers any attached Energy, damage counters, or Special Conditions to the new Pokémon while placing Ditto in the discard pile. Its primary attack, Energy Ball, costs one Colorless Energy and deals 10 damage plus an additional 10 for each unused Energy attached to Ditto. The attack’s total damage cannot exceed 20 extra, making it a flexible offensive option. The card’s weaknesses include Fighting-type attacks at double power, while its resistance list is empty. It was first released in the EX series as part of the FireRed & LeafGreen set on September 1, 2004.
