Luxio is a Lightning-type Pokémon with 80 HP. It has a retreat cost of one Colorless energy and a converted retreat cost of 1. The card features two attacks: "Kick," which costs one Colorless energy and deals 20 damage, and "Discharge," requiring one Lightning and two Colorless energies to deal 40× damage. The Discharge attack also discards all Lightning Energy attached to Luxio and flips a coin for each discarded card, with damage multiplied by the number of heads. Luxio resists Metal-type attacks by 20 and is weak to Fighting-type attacks by 20. Its flavor text describes strong electricity coursing through its claws, with a light scratch causing fainting in foes. The card was released in the Platinum series as part of the Arceus set on November 4, 2009, and is classified as a Uncommon rarity. Artist Suwama Chiaki designed the card's illustration.
