Pelipper is a Water-type Pokémon with 90 HP. It features two attacks: Water Ball, which costs one Colorless Energy and deals 20 damage plus 10 additional damage for each Water Energy attached to Pelipper, and Wing Attack, which requires one Water Energy and two Colorless Energies to deal 60 damage. The card resists Fighting-type attacks by 20 and is weak to Lightning-type attacks by 20. Pelipper has a retreat cost of two Colorless Energies. Its flavor text describes it as a messenger of the skies that carries small Pokémon and eggs to safety in its bill. The card is part of the Platinum series, released in November 2009, and is included in the Arceus set. It was designed by artist Naoyo Kimura.
