Salamence is a Colorless-type Pokémon with 140 HP. It features the ability Top Accelerator, which allows the player to reveal the top card of their deck during their turn. If the revealed card is a basic Energy card, it can be attached to one of the player’s Pokémon; otherwise, the card is discarded. The ability is inactive if Salamence is under a Special Condition. Salamence has two attacks: Shoot Through, which costs Fire, Water, and Colorless Energy to deal 50 damage and inflict 20 damage to an opponent’s Benched Pokémon, and Dragon Claw, requiring four Colorless Energy to deal 70 damage. The Pokémon has a retreat cost of two Colorless Energy. It resists Fighting-type attacks by 20 and is weak to Colorless-type attacks by 30. The card is part of the Platinum series, released in the Arceus set in 2009, and was illustrated by Shin Nagasawa. It is classified as a Rare Holo card.
