Arceus is a Colorless-type Pokémon with 80 HP, featured in the Platinum series released on November 4, 2009. The card’s artwork was created by artist Mitsuhiro Arita, and its flavor text reflects a mythic origin, describing it as having emerged from an egg in a void to shape the world. Arceus has no inherent abilities but includes two attacks: Ripple Swell and Sky Spear. Ripple Swell allows players to search their deck for up to six basic Energy cards if they have six Arceus in play, each of a different type, and attach them to distinct Pokémon. Sky Spear requires three Colorless Energy to deal 80 damage to an opponent’s Pokémon while removing all Energy from Arceus and placing them in the Lost Zone.
