Greninja V-UNION is a Water-type Pokémon with 300 HP. It features three abilities: Ninja Body, which prevents all effects of opponent Item cards played on this Pokémon; Antidote Jutsu, which grants immunity to Poison; and Feel the Way, allowing the player to reveal their opponent’s hand once per turn. Its attacks include Union Gain, which attaches up to two Water Energy cards from the discard pile; Aqua Edge, dealing 130 damage with a single Water Energy cost; Twister Shuriken, inflicting 100 damage to each Benched Pokémon during the opponent’s turn; and Waterfall Blind, dealing 180 damage while preventing the Defending Pokémon from retreating during the next turn. The card requires two Colorless Energy to retreat and has no resistances, though it is weak to Lightning with double damage. It belongs to the Sword & Shield series, released in 2019, and is part of the SWSH Black Star Promos set. The card’s rules specify that four Greninja V-UNION cards from the discard pile can be combined onto the Bench during the player’s turn, and the opponent takes three Prize cards if this Pokémon is Knocked Out. Artist Shin Nagasawa designed the card, which carries the Pokédex number 658.
